New Brighton Line prints! - Seafood & Oyster Bar
..this next one is of a little seafront seafood & oyster bar shed...(given a bit of artistic license of course!)
that can be found next to the Brighton Fishing Museum down on the beach walkway.
I've added a bit more 'decoration' on my interpretation here, but hey, what the heck..hope you like!

New Brighton Line prints! - North Laines
The North Laines in Brighton is the subject of this next one - in particular it's wonderful retro markets & junk shops!
'Snoopers Paradise' in the North Laines is my favourite place in Brighton, crammed full of retro 'shit-nacks', and the kind of old junk I love...in fact, about 10 years ago, I used to have a stall there myself!

New Brighton Line prints! - Hanover
..up next is a print of one of Brighton's mst famous districts - Hanover, known locally as 'Museli Hill' or 'Museli Mountain' (due to it's steeply inclined streets, and its 'wholesome' residents - artists & social workers!)
For those not familiar with Brighton's districts, Hanover is an area West of the city centre, characterised by it's rows of painted coloured terraced houses (you see them on your left as you come into Brighton Railway Station)
Hanover is famous for having more pubs than anywhere else in the UK...there feels like there is one on every street corner!

New Brighton Line prints! - Royal Pavillion
...here is my interpretation of the fabulous Brighton Royal Pavillion!
I have added a bit of artistic license on this one!..although the ral one is still as mad as a box of spiders!

New Brighton Line prints! - London to Brighton Veteran Car Run
up next is the famous London to Brighton Veteran Car run, held annualy in November...
I went down to the seafront last year to see this for the first time, & was blown away by how utterly fantastic these machines are..

New Brighton Line prints! - Seagulls
..next up, is those pesky seagulls!!....
.....as anyone from Brighton will tell you, the Seagulls rule the roost in this city!!.. This little fella is enjoying his tray of chippie-chips on a seafront bench, circled by a bunch of hungry gulls!

New Brighton Line prints! - Volks
...first up on the new prints is my take on Brighton's very own Volks Railway!...
This great little railway down on Brighton's seafront is the world's first electric railway, opened in 1883...and still running today!

Brighton Line at the Brighton Festival
http://www.yarnandglue.com/page5/
I am proud to announce, that the Brighton line has branched off and will be launching a range of brand new prints in conjunction with the Brighton Festival.
The new prints are a pastiche of the illustated posters produced by travel companies such as London Transport & British Rail during the 1940s-1960s, and feature many aspects that make Brighton such a unique & wonderful city.
The exhibition will be part of Brighton Festival's 'Open House' exhibitions held during all the weekends in May, starting this Saturday, May 7th.
I will be exhibiting at the 'Yarn & Glue' Open House, which is my good friend Dale Maloney's new site gallery & store, which will also be launched during the Festival.
I will also be exhibiting some other new prints & postcards, as well as the full range of 'Playtime' cards produced by 1973 will be available
